Volunteer Trainee Countryside Partnership Officer vacancy
Invasive Species and River Restoration

Medway Valley and North West Kent Countryside Partnerships are looking for a trainee with enthusiasm to learn new skills with a focus specifically on assisting Partnership Officers with the Invasive Non Native Plant Project and with various river restoration and flood alleviation projects. The successful candidate will work alongside Partnership Officers at Medway Valley and at North West Kent Countryside Partnership offices.
This is an unpaid part-time position designed to help young people develop experience and subsequently gain full time employment. The position comes with a training budget and paid travel expenses. Hours are negotiable but we would anticipate the duration to be for 9 months on a two day a week basis starting in February 2015. The role is only available to people in the age bracket 16 to 24.
