Provisional Key Stage 1 results

Provisional figures suggest that Kent's seven year olds have made good progress in reading and writing at level 2b. A number of children continue to achieve above the national average at level 3 in reading, writing and mathematics.

GCSE results continue to improve

Across Kent GCSE results have improved again this year.

Yet again more than half of students (55.9 percent) achieved the key benchmark of five A* to C, including English and maths.

Kent’s Class of 2010 have smashed records yet again. Following in the footsteps of their predecessors, A-level students have clocked up results which put the county among the best in the country.

National Family Week competition winners

Six lucky families have won prizes after taking part in our National Family Week competition. Around 140 events took place throughout in Kent between 31 May and 6 June, each day had a different theme but focused on families enjoying time together.
