Know your score quiz, higher risk score - video transcript for Leah Coleman

This is the transcript for the video that is part of the results of the know your score quiz.

A short video presentation by Leah Coleman, Team Lead at One You Kent. Leah will tell you your score, and talk about the risks associated with your current level of drinking.

Leah: "Hi, your test results show that you are drinking at what is classed as a high-risk level and it is likely that your drinking is causing you some harm. This level could impact lots of things such as your sleep, your memory, your energy levels, not to mention your physical health and your mental health.

You are also at risk of developing alcohol-related health conditions such as liver disease, obesity, high blood pressure or depression. These sorts of health conditions can really creep up on you quickly, and often when you become aware of them it’s a little bit too late.

You are also at an increased risk of developing an alcohol dependence so there are a few simple changes you can make to lower your alcohol intake such as drinking alcoholic drinks with a lower alcohol content or you could alternate your drinks with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

There is support available to you. You can either try your GP or you can have a look at the links on this page to support services such as One You Kent. Thank you for taking the time to know your score. You have already taken the first step and there is so much support out there available to help you make the changes you want."
