Changing Places toilets

Changing Places toilets have extra features to meet the needs of people with a range of disabilities and their carers.

The toilets provide enough space and the right equipment, including a hoist and height adjustable changing bench.

Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone

A Changing Places is located behind reception on the ground floor of Sessions, House, County Hall in Maidstone, ME14 1XQ.  It is wheelchair accessible and includes a height-adjustable, adult-sized changing bench, hoist and a non-slip floor. It is available to the public from 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays.

RADAR keys

You may need a RADAR key to access certain disabled facilities across Kent. These keys are designed to be used in any of the 5,600 wheelchair accessible toilets across the country that are fitted with a RADAR key.

You can buy a key online via the Disability Rights UK website or your local pharmacy.
