Library services available during coronavirus

We have now opened many of our libraries with coronavirus secure measures in place to keep you and our staff as safe as possible. For the time being we are limiting what services are available to you, however this will be under constant review as per government guidelines.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, bookshelf browsing and use of computers and wifi is currently unavailable. You can still request books through our Select and Collect service.

Services available

The services available from our libraries are:

Please do not visit one of our libraries unless you are using one of the above services. We cannot take any type of payment or applications for any bus passes.

Services not yet available

Across all of our libraries, you cannot:

  • visit our libraries to browse our bookshelves
  • use one of our bookable computers
  • use our WiFi
  • use our study spaces
  • use our toilet facilities
  • use our photocopying machines.

We have also suspended our service for processing evidence needed as part of the applications for bus passes and Blue Badges.
