Accessibility of Trosley Country Park
At Trosley Country Park we have 170 acres of beautiful woodland and chalk downland. With spectacular views over the North Downs, a café and a woodland play area for kids, the park is the perfect place for a great day out.

Visitor centre and café
Our café, gift shop and information point are on the ground floor of the visitor centre and accessible through automatic double doors at the main entrance or via single manual doors at the main entrance. Seating is available both inside the visitor centre for customers using the café facilities as well as at picnic benches in the café garden that are accessible to wheelchair users.
Toilets
We have one unisex accessible toilet adjacent to the visitor centre. These facilities can be reached via easy access pathways and do not require a RADAR key to access them.
Toilet facilities are available at all times when the car park is open to visitors, even if the café and shop are closed.
Meeting room
The Hamilton Room is on the ground floor of the visitor centre and is available for hire on weekdays and weekends. The room has its own unisex accessible bathroom.
Disabled parking
There are several hard standing allocated disabled spaces which are located in the main car park nearest to the visitor centre.
The visitor centre entrance is approximately 10 metres away and the main entrance is easily accessible. There are an additional 55 hard standing car park spaces and 70 spaces in the overflow car park.
If you are a Blue Badge holder, you can purchase an annual season ticket in advance of your visit. The annual season ticket gives you access to all of our country park car parks free of charge during the year.
To purchase your season ticket call 03000 41 72 72, and have your Blue Badge number and credit or debit card handy for reference.
Paths
The yellow route is an easy access route through the woodland which also provides spectacular views over the downs.
The paths are mainly flat, but with some surfaced slopes to navigate, there are no steps. In winter, parts of the route can be muddy.

Our play area includes:
- timber climbing frames
- an accessible swing
- plenty of imaginative role play structures.
The play area is designed to improve free access to health and wellbeing activities and to stimulate challenging, creative and sociable play.
