Pilot of Men’s Antenatal and Postnatal Support privacy notice

We keep this privacy notice under regular review and it was last updated in July 2023.

Kent County Council respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Who we are

Kent County Council collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018). We are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information. Our Data Protection Officer is Benjamin Watts.

Kent County Council (KCC) has commissioned Becky Fedia, independent consultant, as the provider for the design and pilot of Men’s Antenatal and Postnatal Support from 19 June 2023 to 31 March 2024. This will involve working with new dads and male partners or those who are expecting a baby to:

  1. better understand their experiences and what kinds of support they would find useful
  2. create with them antenatal and postnatal support for new or expectant fathers and male partners
  3. pilot this support.

The project will also involve working with related professionals to gather their views on the subjects above.
