Preventing gambling-related harm, helping people make informed choices, and ensuring confidential support is available across Kent.
Understanding gambling harm
Gambling can be an enjoyable activity for many people, but for some it can have a negative impact on finances, mental health, relationships, work, and physical wellbeing. Preventing gambling-related harm means helping people make informed choices, recognising the signs of risk early, and ensuring support is available when it is needed.
We have recently received Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) funding to start working with partners to provide information, education around gambling harm, and support services for individuals, families, and communities affected by gambling-related harm.
