A228 Snodland Bypass phase 5

Location of the works

Closure of the northbound carriageway of the A228 between the Holborough Road junction and the Holborough roundabouts.

There will also be 3-way temporary traffic lights in place at the Holborough roundabout to manage access at the Holborough estate and Vantage Point.

Date of works

Sunday 2 June (1 night), 9pm to 5am. Outside these hours, the road will be open for traffic.

Access to your home or business

You may experience some disruption during the works. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, we will try to keep this to a minimum.

Snodland resident access

If you live on the west side of the A228 (opposite side to the train station), access to your property is available from both the north (Holborough Road) and south (Malling Road).

For residents living on the east side of the A228 (the same side of the train station), your access will be via Rocfort Road heading northbound or Brook Street heading southbound.

You will only be able to exit by heading southbound from Brook Street. You must then follow our diversion route to reach the M2 or Medway.

Holborough estate resident access

Access to the estate will only be available via the Holborough roundabout when heading in a southbound direction. You may exit the estate in either north or southbound direction.

Train station and Mid Kent Business Park

To access the train station and Mid Kent Business Park, you must travel via Rocfort Road heading northbound or Brook Street heading southbound.

You will only be a able to exit by heading southbound from Brook Street. You must then follow our diversion route to reach the M2 or Medway.
