Satellite provisions
As part of your child's education health and care (EHC) plan, they may be considered to be supported by a satellite class in a mainstream primary or secondary school. Classes are led by special school staff and support those with autism spectrum condition (ASC) and profound severe and complex needs (PSCN).
Children attending a satellite class will have a personalised plan to support their inclusion within the mainstream school. Class sizes will vary per school and your child will stay on the role of the special school.
