Stay and Play

Bubba Club covers a range of topics such as the importance of communicating with babies, tummy time, introducing solids, safety, play and child development. The session is parent/carer led with the proposed theme of the week as the initial focus. Signposting to other services such as health visiting and reference to public health messages is continued throughout the sessions.
A chance to talk with others and find ways to bunce back through challenging times.
Sensory time promotes and encourages sensory play between parents and under 5’s. The session explains some of the benefits and reasons behind why it helps children’s development and gives you a range of sensory play ideas for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers that you can achieve at home.
Sing and Rhyme Time
An introduction to singing rhymes and learning useful signs that are based on British Sign Language. The aim is to encourage you to have fun learning with your child joining in as you would do during a drop-in children’s group. Singing rhymes encourages a child’s developing speech and communication skills through rhythm and repetition. Signing enables a child to see the words they are hearing and enables you and your child to communicate before verbal skills have fully developed.
