Street lights

In Kent, there are around:

• 125,000 streetlights
• 16,250 signs
• 7,500 illuminated and non-illuminated bollards
• 2,100 Belisha beacons and centre island posts.

We own and look after most of the street lights in Kent. We also look after street lights for some district councils. If we don't own the streetlight a Parish or district council may do. Or it may be privately owned.
