Parking tickets and fines
Parking tickets and fines are issued by your district council.
If you pay your parking fine within 14 days, you will only be charged half of the fine. You'll get a parking ticket (Penalty Charge Notice) for £70 or £50, depending on what you've done.
Parking ticket charges and rules are the same wherever you live in Kent.
You can pay your parking ticket through your district council. Details will be on the back of the ticket. If you wish to appeal against a parking ticket, you need to do this within 14 days of the ticket being issued. You can do this through your district council.
