Book a slot to visit a Household Waste Recycling Centre
30 July: Fridge and freezer disposal capacity across Kent is currently limited due to a national issue. We kindly ask you to not to bring these items to our sites unless absolutely necessary, as there is a possibility we may not be able to accept them.

Every small action makes a big difference. Before you throw something away, think:
- can someone else use it?
- can you recycle it?
- could you give it a new life at home?

Ready to recycle? Book your slot
If reuse or recycling at home isn’t possible, we’re here to help you get rid of your items responsibly. You need to book a slot before visiting any of our household waste recycling centres (HWRCs). This helps us keep things running smoothly and reduce queues.
You can visit us on the same day you book or book up to 2 weeks in advance. There is no limit on the amount of times you can visit us in a day.

Our booking system has changed recently. There's no customer account and it looks a bit different, but it's still quick and easy to use.
If you cannot access the online booking system, call 03000 41 73 73 Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Text Relay 18001 03000 41 73 73).
Prepare for your visit
Before you visit one of our HWRCs check the below to make sure you are prepared.
On the day of your visit
To help us recycle as much as possible and keep things running smoothly, please separate your items before you arrive. For example, group together:
- electrical items
- paper
- textiles.
Check what you can and can't recycle to make sure nothing's wasted.
Don’t forget to bring:
- your booking reference (on your phone, a handwritten note or printed)
- your vehicle voucher (if you need it)
- someone with you if you need help to lift items.
