Dr Sahota: Hi, Dr Sahota here. I've been following the progress of 3 Kent families as they try varieties of change4life ideas and activities. Like most families today, they've all got busy lives, so how can we get out and about to move more? It might seem difficult but it's not as tricky as you may think. For example, you can get your kids moving for an hour a day with just  6 -10 minutes burst of activity.

As our families found out, being active can be great fun. They started with a weakly wall planner. It's a simple way to make time for daily physical activities that everyone can get involved in. Our families did an excellent job of finding lots of different things to do.

And the change4life website has really helped with ideas. It's led them to explore the local area too. From parks to beaches, Kent's full of interesting places to visit and brilliant activities that are totally free including some beautiful country walks that are perfect for the weekend.
