The National Motorway Course is a 3 hour online course (with a short break) which teaches attendees how motorways work and includes:

  • what the signs on motorways mean
  • which lanes you can drive in
  • how to use an emergency refuge
  • what the speed limit is
  • why speeds are sometimes reduced.

There’s a mix of information, discussion and reflection on the things that affect people’s driving. At the end of the course you will leave with practical tips to help you drive more safely on motorways.
