About the National Motorway Awareness Course
The National Motorway Course is a 3-hour online course (with a short break). It will teach you how motorways work and includes:
- what the signs on motorways mean
- which lanes you can drive in
- how to use an emergency refuge
- what the speed limit is
- why speeds are sometimes reduced.
At the end of the course you will:
- have understood what affects people's driving
- leave with tips for safer motorway driving.
Course restrictions
You can attend only one National Motorway Awareness Course in 3 years. Any further offending will be dealt with by prosecution.
