We currently have several double plots available which can typically accommodate:

• 1 mobile home (subject to size) and one touring caravan, or
• 2 touring caravans.

The deadline to submit your application is 15 August.

We will review applications between between 4 and 15 August and plot allocations will be determined week beginning the 18 August.

• Due to high demand, we are unable to respond to frequent phone calls before the review period, as this may delay the process.
• The dates outlined above are subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Waiting list

We have a waiting list for applicants interested in a pitch on a Kent County Council managed site. If you would like to be added to the list you will need to fill in an application form. To request a form:

Your application will be assessed, and if it meets the Pitch Allocation Policy requirements it will be added to the list. (Updated 23 January 2025).

The definition of 'gypsies and travellers' has been updated in the National Planning Policy Framework and the Planning Policy for Traveller Sites due to recent court rulings [link]. As a result, the 2023 Pitch Allocations Policy has been changed to match this new definition. This change has been approved by Stephanie Holt-Castle, Director of Growth and Communities, under Executive Decision 23/00040 - Adoption of Gypsy and Traveller Site Pitch Allocation Policy.
