Proposed new primary school at Paddock Wood
Representation period
Between 7 September and 19 October 2026, we invited and received proposals, in accordance with section 7 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, for the establishment and operation of a new mainstream primary school in Paddock Wood.
The original specification and invitation documentation, which sets out the requirements for the new school and the criteria against which proposals will be assessed, is available for reference.
In accordance with the requirements of opening new schools: statutory guidance for proposers and decision-makers, the proposals received are published below for a 4 week representation period from 29 October to 26 November 2026.

Interested parties may submit representations during this period, all of which will be considered as part of the assessment and decision-making process.
Representations must be emailed to school.consultations@kent.gov.uk by no later than midnight on 26 November 2026 and addressed for the attention of Nick Abrahams, Assistant Director Education (West Kent).
