Folkestone - A Brighter Future
Folkestone and Hythe District Council (F&HDC) submitted a bid to the Levelling Up Fund Round 2 for £19.8 million to deliver the scheme, matched by £2.2 million from F&HDC. We are the delivery partner for the transport and public realm elements of the scheme.
What will change
The project will see improvements made to roads, drainage networks, streetlights, and green areas.

Project timetable
- contractors and suppliers invited to apply for tender - summer 2024
- tender assessment and contract award - early 2025
- construction start - April 2025
- estimated end of construction - summer 2026.
