To join the programme and start receiving support, you must have personal current or previous experience with any of the following:

  • Disability or long-term health condition
  • Mental illness or neurodivergence
  • Caring for someone
  • Experiencing homelessness
  • A veteran or veteran’s spouse
  • Living with drug or alcohol challenges
  • Being in foster care
  • Criminal convictions
  • Afghan or Ukrainian refugee
  • Surviving domestic abuse
  • A young person at risk of crime
  • Victim of modern slavery

Suitability

You must also fit into the following criteria:

  • Be of working age (at least 18 years old, or 16 to 17 and struggling to find alternative support)
  • Living in Kent or Medway
  • Motivated to find paid work
  • Not on another Department for Work and Pensions funded programme
  • Either not employed, or currently employed but at significant risk of losing your job
  • Require dedicated support from an employment specialist to find and stay in work

Costs

There is no cost to take part  for participants, employers, or referrers.

You do not need to be in receipt of any benefits to take part, or meet any income threshold.
