How ReferKent works
ReferKent is an online system. You can use it to share people's details with other services who can help.
The system is:
- free for voluntary sector organisations who support Kent or Medway residents
- quick and easy to use
- safe and secure.
When you join ReferKent, you'll be able to make and get referrals for support.
Making referrals
Sending a referral is quick, easy, and secure. You can refer an adult you're supporting, but people can't refer themselves.
To make a referral:
- Sign in to the system.
- Complete the short form.
- Choose the services that can help.
- Send the referral.
The system follows UK GDPR law and keeps individuals' information safe and secure. We only ask for the details we need to make the referral.
Tracking progress
You can track the progress of your referrals at any time.
The ReferKent team keep track of referrals to make sure you get a response within 3 working days.
Getting referrals
You will get an email notification when you get a referral. You can then sign in to your ReferKent account to view it and reply.
The system follows UK GDPR law. It keeps individuals’ information safe. You will only get the details you need for the referral.
You should respond to the referral in 3 working days.
