Ripple Farm Organics Active Travel grant story
Ripple Farm Organics are an organic vegetable farm business based in Crundale. They grow organic produce which they package, sell and distribute directly to customers and local food businesses.
Ripple Farm Organics were awarded £2,000 towards the cost of an electric bike used for towing a trailer to transport their fresh produce to customers doorsteps and for picking up farm supplies.
“I am mainly using it for deliveries around Wye and to 2 other sites I work at. It's great to have the electric assist for when I'm carrying paperwork between the office and packing shed and when I travel between sites to water plants and other jobs, saving car journeys.”
