Planning application fees are set by the government.

If your proposal includes development in more than 1 category, the highest fee applies.

Paying

Cheques and postal orders - make payable to Kent County Council.

If you're part of the council you should pay by a specific journal transfer to the Planning Applications Group.

Send your application and payment to Planning Applications Group, Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ.

Planning condition fees

We charge to approve details required by planning conditions and to confirm you've met the terms of conditions.

The cost of approval is £309 per request (not per condition).

To apply, put your request in writing to Planning Applications Group, Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ.

If you ask us to amend a previously approved detail you'll need to pay again.
