To support, object to or comment on any planning application we receive, you can:

Late comments

Applications are open for comment until the consultation expiry date shown against the application. We strongly encourage that all representations are made within the timeframe(s) allowed as this ensures the Planning Authority has adequate time to consider all comments received before an application has to be determined.

Please note: comments cannot be submitted via our website once the period for publicity has passed.

What to include

  • Quote the planning application number and site address
  • Ensure that your comments only relate to planning considerations (planning policies, environmental or residential impacts, highways issues and opportunities for lessening impacts)
  • State the reasons why you wish to support or oppose the proposed development.
  • Be clear and concise.

Planning considerations do not include affects on property values.

Petitions

You can submit a petition about a planning application online as a comment on a planning application. You will need to tick the petition box and enter the total number of signatures and attach the petition as a document.
