School uniform

We cannot provide money to help you pay for your child's uniform.

Most schools in Kent ask children to wear school uniforms. Each school has its own uniform policy. The governing body of each school decides whether pupils should wear a uniform, in consultation with the headteacher, staff and parents.

You can speak to your school to find out if they sell uniforms that have been used before at a reduced rate. Alternatively, the Citizen's Advice Bureau can offer advice and support on school costs including school clothing.
