• learn how Ofsted inspect schools
• check school league tables
• think about what school transport is available

• find out how the school can support your child if you are choosing a school for a child with special educational needs
• check you have a right of abode, or that the conditions of your immigration status otherwise permit you to access a state-funded school before you make an application (if you are an overseas national entering the UK).
