Become a Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) partner
If you run activities for children and young people in Kent, becoming a HAF partner is a great way to reach more families and make a real difference.
Reasons to join the HAF programme
Partners often describe HAF programmes as the highlight of their year and it's an amazing chance to do the work they’re passionate about with children who genuinely benefit from it.
Becoming a HAF partner means you can:
- bring joy and new experiences to children who might otherwise miss out
- make a real difference to families who really value a warm, supportive space
- grow your provision by offering HAF places alongside your paid‑for sessions
- build connections with local schools, councils, and community groups
- be part of a respected, funded, countywide programme backed by the Department for Education
- showcase your strengths, whether that’s sport, creativity, outdoor play, cooking, mentoring or youth work
If you share these values, we’d love you to join us.
Quotes from partners
Here are some quotes from partners over the years explaining why they're happy to be HAF partners:
“We have a number of young carers who attend with the siblings they care for. I had a very lovely conversation with a mother who was so grateful for giving her young carer the opportunity to access activities that he loves and has made very good friend groups.”
“Child B has been struggling with her confidence and self-esteem, she often refuses to attend school. Attending HAF gave her the opportunity to be with staff and children in a different environment making this a much more positive experience for her.”
Register your business
To deliver HAF activities, you’ll need to register through our approved‑provider list. This is known as the procurement framework. It helps us keep activities safe, high‑quality and consistent across Kent.
Once registered, you can upload all bid documents to your application forms using the correct Lot links below.
Each Lot represents a different area of Kent. For example, if your activities are in Tunbridge Wells (West) and Folkestone (East), you must upload your documents to Lot 4 and Lot 2. If you apply for more than one Lot, you must upload your documents separately for each Lot.
Choose the Lot that matches where your activities will take place:
To avoid delays, upload your documents to the correct Lot. We can only review applications that are in the right place.
