We want to help more people in Kent and Medway find good jobs and stay healthy at work. Many feel that they can’t work, or find it hard to keep a job because of long-term health problems or disabilities. This can affect:

  • their families
  • their employers
  • public services
  • our local economy.

But there is a big opportunity. If we work together, we can help thousands of people who want to work and have great skills. With the right support for residents and employers, we can help everyone start, stay, and succeed in good jobs.

The Kent and Medway Integrated Work and Health Strategy is a joint strategy overseen by:

  • Kent and Medway Integrated Care Partnership (ICP)
  • Kent and Medway Economic Partnership (KMEP).

We hope it will help employers to:

  • create healthier workplaces
  • support those who need it to start, stay, and succeed at work.

Our communities are diverse, and this plan will meet local needs. As major employers, we will lead by example and make our workplaces healthy for all.
