Kent Youth Voice resources
Our Kent Youth Voice group members have created resources to support and encourage positive discussions for young people in Kent in schools and community groups.
Mental Health Friends Handbook
The Mental Health Handbook (created by our Mental Health Campaign Group) is full of tips and advice to support other young people's mental health.
The handbook is designed for young people aged 13 to 16. Schools and organisations can order up to 500 copies as supplies are limited.
Building Resilience Board Game
The Building Resilience Board Game (created by our Building Resilience Group) provides tips and advice to improve resilience and is a great engaging activity.
The Building Resilience Group at Kent Youth Voice was supported by HeadStart Kent from 2019 to 2022. HeadStart Kent was a programme to test and develop ways to improve the resilience of young people and their wider communities, funded by the Lottery Community Fund.
Economics for Real Life Money, Choices and Power
This masterclass is led by Liza, created with the support of Kent Youth County Council.
Aimed at young people in years 7 to 10, the session explores how to outsmart peer pressure spending, understand the stock market, how the economy shapes daily life, and how to start a business as a teenager.
Practical, empowering, and inspiring, this workshop gives young people the tools to take control of their financial future.
