Charities endorsed by the Chairman
This year (2026 to 2027) our Chairman and Vice-Chairman have each selected a charity to support, raising funds for:
- Holocaust Educational Trust
- Spadework.
Holocaust Educational Trust
Since 1988, the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) has worked with schools, universities, businesses and communities around the UK to raise awareness and understanding of the Holocaust. They've educated thousands of students through:
- trips to Auschwitz
- teacher training
- working with Parliament
- enabling Holocaust survivors to share their personal testimonies
- inspired individuals to consider their responsibilities to their communities when facing antisemitism.
HET is a national charity that works closely with Kent. Since 2009, they have worked with 190 schools in the county through a variety of programmes. So far this year, they have:
- worked with 27 schools from across Kent as part of their Lessons From Auschwitz programme
- trained teachers from 5 Kent schools
- brought survivors into 5 Kent schools.
Spadework
Spadework is an award-winning registered charity which delivers high-quality, person-centred services for:
- people living with dementia
- adults with learning and other disabilities
- those navigating bereavement
- individuals experiencing challenges with their mental health and for carers.
Donate
Anyone can donate to the charities endorsed by the Chairman and Vice Chairman, and any amount can be donated. All donations made will be split equally between the charities.
