About the Chairman

Our current Chairman is Jeremy Eustace.

Jeremy was first elected to Kent County Council in May 2025 and is proud to represent Ashford Rural West where he lives with his wife Charlotte and two children.

He was born in London and as the son of an army officer spent time living in many different counties of the UK, however Kent was always one of the favourite postings for the family, with his parents retiring to Deal.

Jeremy has a business background in change management, mostly within information technology, and has worked as a consultant with many different industries from retail to manufacturing, financial services, professional services, utilities, central Government, local government and public services.

Jeremy and Charlotte very much look forward to the Civic Year ahead, visiting as many different events and locations as possible across Kent and the wonderful people who every day make a difference in what they do for their local communities.
