We have been assessing the damage to Tonbridge Road in Barming after the void and it is set to reopen on 20 October. Meanwhile, a road closure has been put in place to keep the public safe.
We work with different utilities companies to carry out regular roadworks that will improve roads and services in Kent. All roadworks must have a permit to ensure that works are planned and coordinated to minimise disruption.
Find current and upcoming works near you on the roadworks map, which is provided by Elgin, a third party company. The map shows all works carried out on Kent's roads. You can search works by location and change the date range to see all upcoming roadworks in your area. Read the guidance (PDF, 2.3 MB) for help with using the map.
Highways England also carries out works on Kent's motorways and major roads to improve travel throughout the county. We are not responsible for these works. You can contact Highways England to report a problem on email@example.com.
