Volunteer for the Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Awards

The Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) team is part of the Open Access Service within Early Help and Preventative Services (EHPS). Over 120 centres (schools and youth projects) around the county are supported by the County Coordinator, Development Worker and Field Officers.

We hold one of the biggest single DofE licenses in the UK. A record number of young people between 14 and 25 years of age - 5,066 - took up the DofE challenge in 2014/15. More importantly, there has been a record number of awards completed in the same year, 2,502 of which included a record 185 gold awards. In all, there were 86 young people who received their certificates from The Duke of Edinburgh at St James' Palace on 2 June 2015.
