Online children's centres
Children's centres provide support for 0 to 5-year-olds and their families.
Two of our children's centres - Seashells in Sheerness and Millmead in Margate - are providing a virtual service during the coronavirus crisis. Sessions and advice can be accessed by any Kent family, regardless of where they live.
You and your children can join in with a range of virtual sessions throughout the week on Facebook and Zoom. Some of these sessions are 'live' and will be hosted in real time, and staff will respond to comments and questions you may have.
Both centres are also posting and engaging on social media throughout the day. To join in with any of the sessions below, or to contact either of the children's centres for advice, you can follow them on Facebook:
Alternatively, you can click on the live or recorded sessions in the timetables below to find out more about them.
These sessions can be accessed by anyone, but we encourage you to register to use children’s centres before you do.
You can find out about other activities being run by children's centres on our children's centres page.
Save the Children have also produced an activity pack (PDF, 3.1 MB) for you and your children.
