Admissions criteria for admission to school in September 2021.

Primary schools

Community and voluntary controlled schools have Kent County Council as their admissions authority. Details of their admissions process can be found in the documents below.

Voluntary-aided, foundation and academy schools are their own admissions authority, so have their own set of criteria. Primary schools with individual admissions criteria.

Secondary schools

Community and voluntary controlled schools have Kent County Council as their admissions authority. Details of their admissions process can be found in the documents below.

We have received agreement from the Office of the Schools Adjudicator to vary the timing of the Kent Test. For more information read our press release.

How to object

An objection to any of these admissions arrangements must be sent to the Schools' Adjudicator by 15 May 2020. For more information please visit the Office of the Schools' Adjudicator website.

Consultation

Voluntary-aided, foundation and academy schools consulted on changes to their admissions arrangements between 1 October 2019 and 31 January 2020 for pupils starting school in 2021.
