Free bus travel for young people and families
If you live in Kent, there are 2 types of free bus pass available this summer:
Passes for 11 to 18 year olds
If you're between 11 and 18 years old you can travel by bus for free this summer as part of the Reconnect programme.
You should have received a bus pass from your school or college before the end of the summer term. If you didn't, you can pick up a bus pass from a collection point.
If you have children under 11 years old and can't get them to summer activities because of a lack of transport, our family pass is for you.
As part of the Reconnect programme, our family pass allows an adult to travel with between 1 and 3 children under 11 by bus for free this summer. Children over 11 years old will need their own pass to travel for free.
Family passes are available from a collection point while stocks last.
Using your bus pass
Once you get your bus pass, you’ll be able to use it as many times as you like between 22 July and 31 August 2021.
The pass is valid in Kent on the following buses:

You cannot use it for services that start in or operate in Medway, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey or the Transport for London area.
You must show your bus pass to the driver when getting on the bus and you must keep the pass with you at all times.
