Corporate Management Team
Our Corporate Management Team consists of corporate
directors who represent the main directorates within Kent County
The Corporate Management Team meets weekly
- the managerial leadership and direction of the council
- the formal response to Cabinet
- council-wide policy and initiatives for Cabinet
- co-ordination and commissioning of council-wide activity,
planning, programme management.
The team is responsible for a budget
of £2.4 billion and more than 12,000 staff (excluding school
staff). They lead a complex organisation that works in
partnership with other public agencies, local business and the
voluntary and community sector to improve the lives of Kent's 1.4

Head of Paid Service
Corporate Director of Business Strategy and Support
Includes policy and international affairs, performance and
improvement, information services and economic development,
Corporate Director of Customer and Communities
Includes libraries, adult education, youth, country parks,
Gateways and the delivery of our Apprenticeship programme.
Corporate Director of Education, Learning and Skills
Includes education, early years, schools and special needs.
Corporate Director of Families and Social Care
Includes social services for adults, children and older people
and promoting independence.
Corporate Director of Enterprise and Environment
Includes highways and waste functions, the planning and
environment teams, and the delivery of new major transport schemes
and regeneration projects.
Corporate Director of Finance and Procurement
Includes finance, value for money, external funding, audit and

Includes health promotion and prevention, health protection,
screening and immunisation programmes and health intelligence.
