Select Committee Reports

Prior to the introduction of new governance arrangements in April 2012, each Policy Overview and Scrutiny Committee could appoint a time-limited select committee to look at specific policy issues in depth through 'topic reviews'.  Select committee reviews can now be carried out on behalf of the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Scrutiny Committee.

Select Committees are like small sub-committees, are politically balanced and hold their meetings in public.
