As the public sector enters recession and the era of austerity hits home, it is clear there will be a substantial reduction in the number of senior positions in the public sector.
 
Employment law needs changing and my article "Employers are too often caught between a rock and an even harder rock" articulates why, from our experience in Kent, this urgently needs to take place otherwise massive amounts of public money, which we can ill afford, will be wasted.
