Complaints about potholes after the hard winter
Find & Fix pothole scheme has been reinstated so that
current and future repairs can be viewed on the KCC
website.
The Contact Centre have been given improved information for all
Kent Highway Service (KHS) areas on a new intranet system (iWay)
which has enabled them to provide the most up to date information
to answer customer queries and provide more realistic timescales
when customers report issues to KHS.
A complaint following a public meeting where attendees had
to be refused entry due to the venue capacity being reached
Future meetings in Gravesend on the Lower Thames Crossing will
be held in a larger venue.
At a Local Board meeting complaints were made by members of the
public about street lighting and uneven paving
The complaints were passed to Highway Services who resolved the
lighting issues themselves and who reported back to the external
contractor to re-lay paving.
Following complaints about content on various parts of the KCC
website
- The Registration & Coroners content has been
clarified.
- Improvements have been made to the Community Learning and
Skills website to ensure the public are aware about only applying
for one concession.
- Togogo complaints have been addressed through a data review and
clean.
- The Youth Service is in the process of setting up a facebook
group and creating a facebook application with young people
The individual needs of Community Learning and Skills students
were not being considered
Improvements have been made to the Learner Journey Team System
to ensure Tutors are aware of the individual needs of the
students.
A number of complaints were received on the policy of removing
waste items from the Household Waste Recycling Centres
The policy pages on the KCC website have been updated
to make this information clearer
