Council performance
Kent County Council works hard to provide the best services to
people living, working and visiting Kent.
To measure how we are doing and see where we need to
improve, there are a number of targets which are set nationally by
the government and locally as a council. Our results show how we
compare to other councils and where changes need to be made.
Annual Performance Report
The Annual Performance Report,
published every autumn, provides information on the services we
have delivered in the previous year and how these have contributed
to some of our key objectives as stated in the Towards 2010 document.
Local Account
The
Local Account (PDF, 953k) describes how we have managed
our care and support services for adult social care service users
in Kent in 2011.
Audit Commission
The Audit Commission is an independent watchdog, driving
economy, efficiency and effectiveness in local public services to
deliver better outcomes for everyone. Each year the Audit
Commission produces an audit letter for
the council.
Quarterly Performance Monitoring
We are now for the first time making available to residents
reports of our internal management information, our Quarterly Performance Monitoring
Reports. This report helps us track activity and
performance on a financial quarterly basis to show how our services
are performing.
Equality and Diversity - annual report 2010/11
During 2010 there were significant changes to policy and
legislation which have helped to drive, shape and inform the
council’s approach to equality and diversity.
