Kent County Council keeps a list of all adopted roads and
some private roads in Kent (excluding Medway): the Kent County
Council Highways Gazetteer.
This list is continually being updated as we adopt new estate
roads. Newly built roads are listed as private until the formal
adoption process is completed.
We aim to make the list as comprehensive as possible, but we
cannot guarantee that every road will be included. If you believe
that a road is missing from the list, please let us know.
However, please note the we have no formal duty to maintain a
list of private streets.
The list is ordered alphabetically by street name and shows the
adoption status, parish and Kent County Council references for all
our streets.
