Eurokent Phases 4 & 5

Eurokent is a planned development adjacent to A256 Haine Road. It is consistent with the wider development in the area focused on Westwood Cross and linked to the regeneration efforts being made to support the Thanet economy. Eurokent Phases 4 & 5 is a section of road that will bypass Haine Road between St Johns Avenue/Spratling Street and an earlier phase known as New Haine Road; and provide access to the development sites.

Current Situation

Thanet District Council issued planning consent in July. It is planned to invite tenders in August. Subject to tenders being consistent with the funding available then it is anticipated that and construction would start in October and the road completed in September 2008.
