New ways to school

New ways to school is Kent County Council's initiative to encourage pupils, parents and employees to think about how they travel to school and the impact of their journey choices on their health, well being and the environment.

Every day over 211,000 children and young people attend Kent's schools. Around 38% of these journeys are undertaken by car which accounts for over 20% of ask peak hour traffic on Kent's roads
