Safety awareness

Raising safety awareness among all road users is a very important part of our work.

We train drivers, cyclists and pedestrians on how to be safe in traffic, and to be aware of the dangers around them.

Much of our work is with youngsters - one of the most vulnerable groups. Improving road safety for young people, and reducing the number of injuries to children on our highways is one of our most pressing targets.

We employ a range of measures to improve road safety skills, and we target our resources on areas of the county where the there is a higher incidence of road injury to children.
