The Role of Kent County Council
Most bus services are run for profit, however some would not be
viable without subsidy from Kent County Council. The Council
provides £7 million per year for the provision of socially
necessary bus services across the county.
Should you have a complaint about a specific
bus service in Kent you must first find out if it is a commercial
service or is financially subsidised by Kent County Council. To do
this look at the
bus services page; a horse symbol next to the
service number denotes a subsidised service.
If it is a subsidised service then Transport
Integration can deal with your complaint (contact details are on
the left). If your service is commercial you must
contact the
operator
directly. |
