Home testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

Free home testing is available for chlamydia and HIV.

Order a free home testing kit for chlamydia if you're aged between 16 and 24.

You'll need to provide a urine sample or swab.

If you're over 24, you'll need to go to your nearest clinic to be tested.

Getting your results

We will send you your results by text message. If it's positive you will need to give us a call so that we can refer you to your nearest sexual health clinic or pharmacy to collect your medication. You may also receive a message from the sexual health service to tell you that you will be contacted by a third party (the Kent Community Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust chlamydia team).

Order a free HIV test to take in the privacy of your own home.

The test kit contains everything you need to collect a blood sample and return it to the laboratory for testing. You can even track the status of your test kit and get your results online.
