To receive a screening kit to your home address, you will be asked a series of questions which will identify the tests which are most appropriate for you. This information will be received by our laboratory provider.

The possible test results are:

  • negative – if your result is negative, we will text you your results
  • positive – if your result is positive, we will share your results with the specialist sexual health results bureau who will contact you.
  • reactive – this means that additional testing is needed to confirm whether the test is positive. We will share your results with the specialist sexual health results bureau, who will contact you.

The more STIs you test positive for, the greater your risk of HIV.
