Highway flooding

We clean and maintain highway drains and are responsible for keeping the roads free from water and safe. If you are concerned about flooding on the road or as a result of water from the highway please report it to us.

Responding to flooding

In the event of a flooding emergency we will send a tanker within 2 hours to clear the water.

We respond to all reports of road flooding within 28 days. Initial work might involve cleansing the existing drains or an inspection by an engineer. However identifying the cause and finding and implementing a feasible solution may take much longer.
