Parking

Parking in Kent is mainly a district council responsibility. We are responsible for the overall parking strategy for Kent.

We also provide the Blue Badge parking scheme for disabled people and give guidance on parking management, as part of an organisation's travel planning.

District or borough councils are responsible for:

• disabled parking bays
• Park and Ride schemes
• parking enforcement including parking fines/parking tickets.
