Victoria Way, Ashford
Victoria Way is a new route to the south of the town centre
providing better access to the heart of the town and the
station.
The new road is an attractive, tree-lined avenue extending from
the existing Victoria Road opposite the International train
station, and continuing across Brownfield industrial land to Leacon
Road to join with the A28 near the Matalan roundabout.
The new road also includes a new public square, John Wallis
Square, adjacent to Victoria Road primary school with
sea
ting and public
art landscaping.
As well as improving access, Victoria Way will allow the town
centre to grow by providing business and commercial development
opportunities.
